Why do they look the same? Because they each have a bisecting line around the middle? Because that's pretty much it. The shape itself is obviously much different and the PS4's gap around the edge of the console is a big design factor that the XO does not share.
That being said, I don't really care either way. It's a box I hook my controller into, that's all.
