Yes, I understand that Versus XIII was originally announced as a PS3 exclusive; I just think that it becoming the next FF main entry in the series might change things on that end.  Ultimately, I think third-party games should be on more consoles (gamers, regardless of console choice, get more access to titles).


I refuse to believe that vsXIII exclusivity got tossed out of the window that easily.

And by time I hope it won't be 5 years time. I really really hope they stick to their statement about the change in development approaches. Their development time is seriously out of whack.

Yes,Versus XIII is only for PS3...but now SE has to change the V XIII into XV.So from now on,they are the two different things,and SE won't eat their words if the XV is going to be multiple,and won't play as bitch in this new title as they did with FFXIII.I think this is one of the reason why SE change the titles name.

From the new trailer i guess this game has been remade since the last trailer years ago.You can see the difference from battle system and graphic,the pace of the battle is faster.And i even speculate the story has been changed too,maybe the same attack happened in the last trailer and the new one,but definitely difference senses.

I just wonder how many time SE remake or remodify this unfinished game in the past 7 years...I can smell its a very different game now from the very beginning...

So are you saying to me that SE stood Sony up with the latter going like "kfynwhatever" on it? I'm not dismissing that multiplat might happen but the indication isn't strong. If this was a completely cancelled project then they should have dropped vsXIII concept right from the start. It's unprofessional, it's gonna be misleading.

There's a reason why Jerry Lambert got sacked for being in a Wii related commercial. I most sure there will be some kind of contract. Things get ugly when it's broken.
