cool,i thought it was just online purchases that had a longer time period,

all those consoles not replaced after a year,when this PS3 slim breaks i will be off down the shop i bought it from now,thanks,and my TV


You need to consider that outside of the normal warranty it's up to you to prove it was a manufactured issue and not general wear and tear. This normally involves getting a qualified engineer to look at it and then getting it repaired. I don't think the cost of the engineer will be covered so it may not be worth doing for a lot of things.
