well.. it seems kids are getting more sexually active younger and without proper sex-ed they dont know wtf a condom is

I hate it when people say this. Kids didn't fuck 20, 30, 40 years ago? Just because there are more stories like this available for you to view nowadays doesn't mean kids are getting sexually active younger. It means, as a society, it is sick and sad that the only news stories worth printing are the ones that focus on tragedy. I think that a lot of her situation also has to do with social status. Is she an upper-middle class girl from the suburbs? No, didn't think so.

back 30 or 40 years ago MTV didnt exist, pop idols were 15 years olds, and kids didnt age as fast (and yes women do mature at a faster rate now, there are 13 year olds with C Cups).

Social status doesn't matter anymore for sexual activity. Look at Jamie Spears. She is by far not middle-class thanks to her older sister.

Yes the media only report the bad in the world, but polls have proven that good-hearted stories aboutwhat good has happened in the world bores people or atleast the generation that is running this world at the moment.

If MTV is the only thing that causes sexual desire in teenagers than please God help us all. Yes, there is more media containing sexual content these days, but saying MTV, cinema, and the internet is a cause of increased sexual activity is siding with the likes of Jack Thompson and saying shootings occur because of violent video games. Children have sex because at some point a television station came along that allowed them to view the music video to Safety Dance. Umm...yeah. I took a look at some numbers. Teen pregnacy in the past 15-20 years has only risen about 1 percent in the U.S. You know what else has risen? Population. The more people, the more people there are to fornicate. Of course, one could argue that the increase in population is due to increased teen pregnancy, but I'd like to thank medical advancements. One other thing to note is that teen pregnancy is most prevelant in poorer areas. So yes, social status is a factor, and yes, Jamie Spears is a poor example. How much actual control do you think Jamies parents have over the things she does and the people she sees? Money buys people off, even parents. As for children maturing more quickly, that is due to growth hormones that are used in our cows, pigs, and chickens to produce more milk, eggs, and generally more actual meat on the animal. Please don't complain about that unless you are willing to make a serious change in your diet. I don't mind much. I agree that sexual education is lacking in schools today and misinformation about sex can be spread within the classroom (my sex ed teacher told us masturbation is as bad and addictive as heroine). But implying that the reason is based solely on the times we live in just doesn't make sense. Sex ed is something we've been building and improving for years. It wasn't flawless one decade then screwed up the next. Better parenting is what should be the best solution. A tired argument, but a truthful one. Parents of children should seriously be educating thier own children about sex, abstinence, and contraceptives. Because kids are going to have sex, and instead of parents being an ally in the spread of disease and pregnancy, they act as thier child's enemy. Sorry, I'm done ranting. Oh, and stop judging this poor girl, seriously.

"Do you think you could get any more spittle on those fishy lips of yours?" All characters depicted are really stupid and disgusting. Any similarities to actual persons would be really sad.
