If this next gen would end tomorrow, I probably would agree with you but this will be a long battle and what people care about today might not be the case tomorrow. The thing is, can the X1 be that end all device that has great games and great features. Price isn't everything and a lot of people I talk to really do not care about DRM. Its way to early to announce MS demise but I would say that they will have to give up something in order to fight the negative press. Starting games on X1 40 bucks probably would be a good start.

Oh, I didn't mean to come off as ms is doomed or anything. I just meant that Microsoft really bought their a game, but still couldn't overcome Sony really. Ms still has a chance with next gen.

Too much going on today between the Apple keynote at WWDC, Xbox E3 and Sony E3, it was crazy busy day filled with announcements. Apple's press conference kind of distracted me from the E3 shows today. Honestly i'm more excited over the new ios 7, Mac OS X, and Macs than any anything.

But I will say that Microsoft won me over with the games today. Everybody wanted games and Microsoft brought the games. I was about ready to fall asleep about 15 minutes into the Sony press conference, so what does that tell you?  But I will still pick up a PS4 down the road and have all consoles.
