If they include a 500GB HDD it'd be even better. Hard drives aren't as expensive as they used to be, so they should be able to put it in.

Believe it or not, $20 is a fair amount of extra cost when you're looking at a piece of hardware that costs maybe $300 to produce. There are a lot of details yet to be released, so people are going to feel free to speculate on anything that wasn't explicitly stated. 

I think they confirmed 500gb now but anyway yes I know $20 is a lot when calculating the cost of a console, but doesn't everyone like to point out that Sony gets things cheaper than you or I?  They could upgrade to 1tb for $10 or something (I'm not expert so don't bring exact numbers if that's jibberish).  Anyway I don't think they need to go above 500gb since they can keep pace with MS now that they know they're less expensive.
