You go with the console that sells better.
Right now that $100 more expensive price tag and anti-used stance is not helping MS at all.
The only way MS can come back is by taking a hit and going $399 to match Sony and/or have some insanely aggressive marketing (which is possible).
Only good news I've seen is Amazon pre-orders will probably be sold out in the next few days (for the XB1)
It's just that simple.
