ai is not what makes any genre. but it does make or break this game along with the fps parts. im not argueing whether fps or tps is more immersive either, since it just depends on the game. im not even argueing whether it'll be great, cuz i assume it will be. all im saying is a third person view would give more control over what happens. and since it is about the interesting ai it would be way cooler to be able to control like 3 or 4 fights at once, have them merge and be super awesome.
