I pre-ordered one because it has games that I want to play and they will only be available on it. I always figured video games are what made a gaming console relevant, but hey, what do I know? :P

No problem with that, what I don't understand is, that the better looking games from today will also be playable on pc/ps 4. Why do buy a consumer unfriendly console just for the exlusives? Probably a reason why they can do what they want cause people buy it anyway. I guess you don't know what that means for the indsutry if the Xbox One succeeds.

Nah, I don't feel the industry is in any real trouble because of the X-One. Also, because of my PC background, I know that DRM isn't as bad as is being made out. The 24-hr connection gig, yes, I'd like to know more, it IS a cause of personal concern, but I buy systems for the experiences that can't be had elsewhere. Thus, following the tradition.

Problem is, on steam the games aren't as expensive. And also why would I want a console when it is just like a pc only worse? Excatly.
