I'm thoroughly against pirate and they can burn in Hell for all I care. I have no problem with things that have been discontinued and things that are incredibly rare (since they're generally discontinued too).

I actually get a good little giggle every time whatever console does some drastic measure to stop pirates and people scream because their modded consoles won't work anymore. They say it's to play imports or "test" games, but it's only for pirating. I really don't care how they convince themselves, it's still wrong and you're taking away money from people who put a lot of hard work into getting you those things.

As for music, I do my best to pay for all of it I can. I don't think I've illegally downloaded anything since iTunes came out. 99 cents is a small price to pay for the convenience of finding the music. Sometimes songs can be difficult to find but I can generally find them on Yahoo or Zune if not iTunes. The only thing I do get around is the damn copy protection crap.

For movies I don't think I've ever illegally downloaded one of those, though I do watch shows every now and then when I miss them for some odd reason. My reasoning behind that is they show them for free anyways, my adblocker stops their advertisements anyways, and I never watch commercials on TV (DVR) or when I do decide to watch the shows on the actual site (like watching Prison Break on Fox.com).
