This kinda proves they actually DID think about it. Does not mean that they will actually implement it though. But if they did it would make sense. It does not need to go online for DRM

Patents are filed without intention of incorporating them into a product ALL the time... that actually doesn't prove such things.

But they filed a patent, it shows they thought about it. That's pretty good proof whether you want to believe or not. And if patents don't prove anything why are so many people adament that ps move was thought of before wii motes?
