I suggest you take a logic course then. If the argument is ambigous or a premise isn't explicitly specified then you must give it the benefit of the doubt and assume the best case scenarios of the argument is what is being said.

Then i'd suggest you retake a logic course then.... since you must not of understood what you took.  Or just never learned about trust.  Instead only hard science logic.  When this would be social science we're talking here.

I note you've completely ignored answering my questions that had examples... because you know i'm right.

Honors Logic 100% A+... pretty sure I understood it perfectly and if my logic book wasn't in Milwaukee I would turn to the page that talks about being generous to peoples arguments

People's areguements who are known directly to mislead on a fairly consistant basis?

So again.  You believe Obama on everything he says in regards to the NSA and all the other recent scandals?

That's what your claim on logic suggests you do, or your being illogical right?

For a slightly exagerrated example... if someone tries to sell me a house, and i buy it and found out it was owned by someone else.  I should totally believe them the next time they try and sell me a house.

The problem here, as shown by the textbook you mentioned and class you mentioned is that your trying to apply formal logic(mathmatical logic) to non mathmatical statements made untrustworthy databrokers.

So when did peoples arguments become mathematical? You are wrong, just admit it.

Also Mark Cerny Said the PS4 can be played old school style, with no internet conection at all. Stop trying to twist things to your liking. Sony has said time and again they aren't implementing DRM on their system. They are going far enough to freaking joke about it. Do you really think they are going to just blatantly lie? They are being pretty straight forward, it's just people like you who like to twist things to their liking that are the problem. Then you like to make yourself sound smart by belittling others. You tell someone that they didn't take the class they took, and that you know more about that subject than them. You say by the textbook you mentioned, yet he never named the text book. So what's the name of this text book? You must know. You are a real piece of work.

Your joking right?  That the arguements aren't mathematical was my point on why formal logic is misplaced.  Also, I didn't say the textbook I mentioned... but the textbook HE mentioned.   So, since those were your main objections... I guess you suddenly agree with me now?

He was trying to apply formal logic, for this kind of statement, the correct kind of logic to use would either be the scientific method.  (Take a statement, assume the opposite and see if you can definitivly prove it or not.  If inconclusive assume either is equally possible.)

Or Philosophical logic.  Point out what is specifically said, what it means and what it rules out.  Everything else is up in the air.

Also... why would I WANT the PS4 to have more DRM.   That's just stupid.  The 360 is by far the least played gaming device i've ever owned... and I never had an Xbox.  I own a PS3... and i've used it a hell of a lot more.  As well as every other sony system i've owned.  Which has been every one but the Vita.

The main difference is I take all comments from companies from a skeptical point of view... because well.  That's what companies do, they embellish and misdirect.  It's more or less a giant part of their job.

That's why companies have PR departments in the first place.
