Well why should it be acceptable? I understand you like Xbox and i respect that. what i don't respect is that Microsoft or any company thinks they have the right to impose such things on all of us. What if the successor comes out to the Xbox One and Microsoft just turns off Xbox live for Xbox One, rendering all your games and your Xbox One utterly useless? Wouldn't that piss you off? Especially, if you wanted to go back and play them, not like you could sell them because of these measures. We don't know what Microsoft could do down the line. Although, i hope they don't do that. Also, enjoy your new system. |
It should be acceptable because developers, artists, etc deserve to be paid for their work. How is it fair to someone who's putting a roof over the heads of their children with money made from developing video games to have one person buy their game and then pass it around to every friend they have so that they can all enjoy it for free? You don't think it's more fair that they should at least have to pay something for that privilege?
With all of the developers that have been losing money hand over fist for the last few years, how can you deny that used games/lending games might be a slight problem? And trust me, I hate to be the guy defending massive corporations, but I'm trying to look at the situation objectively. I like free stuff too, but I don't believe I am entitled to it at the expense of someone else.
