xbox 360 price drop? fact or myth?

I can't picture MS dropping the price of the 360 when they are already having "supply issues." If demand is too high for supply, why the hell would they drop the price? Usually you drop the price to increase demand.

Some sources even have the supply issues going on for SIX months. If they might have supply issues until summer, dropping the price is out of the question in the US.
