They have never been rights. They have been privileges. Digital game purchases are not resellable and nobody complains. You know why? Its because reselling a game you've bought and played is not actually a right. And IMO, I'd rather accept the used game policy than let the gaming industry die. That's just selfish.

If it has truly come down to that dichotomy (which is a point you should back up before just throwing it around like this), then it's the industry's fault for letting it get that bad.

It is their prerogative to *try* and force all of this anti-consumer crap down our throats, just as it's our prerogative to migrate to a more consumer-friendly hobby, whatever that may be.

I have no disagreements with what you just said. I just hope that your opinion does not become widespread. However, I don't think that people are fighting for their right to sale their games, they just want to be able to buy used games. 

If they want to buy used games, they have to want somebody to be able to re-sell theirs.
