1 for those saying that low income households cant afford internet. Then why would they want to spend between 400 to 600 (im basing this off the console and a game or two) dollars on something that could cost them about another 100 a year( tgey would probably buy a couple games a year)
2 for those that dont have access to the Internet. Wouldn't it be better if more products started to require an Internet connection since it would put more pressure on the Internet company to start getting Internet everywhere?So the way Iim seseeing it if more products were like the x1 not only would customers start demanding Internet buy so would the company releasing the product. Dont get me wrong im not trying to say the x1 will have everyone starting protests or anything. But the way sony is going is that it doesn't matter if there is Internet or not. How does there way put any pressure to get Internet where its not currently available?
