Just a little over the top don't you think.  Anyways, I'm not reffering to online connection required to play games I was reffering to the whole used game issue.  Publishers clearly have pushed this and what the op posted has Sony and ms in the same court on that issue.  Publishers want that fee on the resale and it looks like they are going to get it.

The ps4 will play used games.... the xbox1 will need an internet connection, cannot rent or loan upon launch and eventually when you can you can loan it a grand total of once and you need to sell it to an MS approved retailer. I don't see a single similarity

You know the xb1 will also play used games right?  All i was saying is that is pretty clear that when you buy a used game both ps4 and ms will probably allow the publisher to decide if that game can be played on the new console without an upfront fee for the resale of the game.  We know how ms is doing it but I'm not sure how ps4 is going to implement it, my guess it will be some sort of DRM.  With what Sony has said about how they will allow publishers to handle this I assume they have some sort of system in place to handle it.  Why else would they answer the question the way they did.  If they weren't going to be detailing with used sale fees they would have just said, we are going to keep the current system we have.
