Like NG said, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it does stand out as the lone dissenting voice among a chorus of praise.

I for one don't really agree with the use of "10" scores for any game seeing as how the only way ANY game can possibly receive such a score is if the reviewer conveniently chooses to ignore all of the gigs, no matter how small, either because the reviewer was so caught up emotionally in the positive experience they had when playing, or for whatever reason warrants a perfect score even if the reviewer points out anything that could have been improved or would have made the experience even more enjoyable as a whole.

Call it the cynic in me, but any time I see a crap load of 10s and one 7.5, I can't help but think, "now here's a cry for attention/clicks, please read my review in whatever mediocre, obscure site I happen to be posting my review. I wrote my review to make up controversy in the hopes it will make my review relevant."

I don't know who Polygon is and frankly, I don't care.
