That is actually a good point. Physical books and cds and vinyl can survive -even on a smaller scale- along with their digital counterparts. But when it comes to gaming it's gonna be all or nothing. PSP Go had zero chance against the PSP for example. With the kindle you have the real advantage of having a library on the go, with all digital gaming there is no advantage for you whatsoever, which means the competition can crush you.

But thats just it, it DOESNT have to be that way. What was wrong with how Sony AND MS has been doing it for years. Given us the damn OPTION to go digital or not. Vita does it, WIi U and 3DS. Everyone is happy. PSPgo was stupid, but i guess MS feels it can do better. What really gets my goat is the sheer ignorance and just lack of thought of some people. I personally refrain from digital, not just cause i like owning the damn thing i bought, but i hate having to keep buying HDs memory sticks etc. Imagine just how LARGE these next gen games will be? Some now are already 5 freaking gigs, FIVE! but maybe it wont matter since we'll be buying less games anyway.
