I'm not seeing anything particularly compelling here. Why should I buy Xbone in order to see content I can already see? Because I won't need to switch between HDMI1 and HDMI2 on my TV? And I can use voice/gestures instead of a remote control? And I should somehow see that as worth $6-700(NZD).

If people think the TV/movie thing is going to sell Xbone to people they are deluded. Games will sell Xbone, and the DRM thing is making the game side of Xbone a bit less attractive to a lot of people. You can't change the world if people don't buy your product.
