I think the gaming community has a beef with Xbox One in general as it isn't solely focused on gaming and they completely disregard that it most likely will be one hell of a gaming console without all the TV stuff. The problem is that focusing on existing features and users doesn't expand markets, and the moment youre not growing and expanding a market, you are seen as dead in the corporate world.

I think many people posting here don't know how well the ol' Xbox 360 + Kinect already works to a good extent in this 'find me something to watch' way.  You can "Xbox, Bing Alfred Hitchcock" and see a whole bunch of Movies, TV, shows, etc.  It shows you what is available, and where you can find it.  It's not perfect, but still really useful, and beats having to search through 10,000 apps.

This is the current system, and the new one, with more power, foccus and innovation, should only be better.  It is an excieting time.

 


That graph is wrong you know? Its assuming "awesome gaming features" are the same, when they arent. The blue portion on the PS4 should be bigger than the Xbox 1. As to the why, read my posts on this thread.
