Translation: We can change the rules as we want.

Nope they can't. If i buy a license for say two years, and i can only use it one year i am entitled to a refund. So if Microsoft would state you can use that game for 10 years and you can only use 5, you are entiteld to a refund. You payed, they didn't deliver. But even if you aren't entitled to a refund and they can change the rules, they are still required to state the term that the license can be used.

And Apple can't sell products with only one year of warranty in Europe but they do. The 900K euros they had to pay to Italy are a misery that isn't going to stop them. It's worth it in the long run.

Laws are for losers like me, not giants like Microsoft.
