The funniest thing about this whole affair is ive yet to see anyone who is defending any of this explain why it is a GOOD thing? Not one. Just horrible arguments and lashing out.
"But SOny is kinda doing something like this." Sure and it still sucks, that would just make Sony sucky too, IF it were true. Which we dont even know it is, and from what ive read its not nearly what MS is doing. A punch in the face is a punch in the face, just depends on how much it would hurt.
"But they need it for updates" yeah because there hasnt been updates for years without forcing a console to go online.
"But...Halo" this is actually fine, look if you love Halo, Forza, Fable or whatever the hell they make in MS labs and you are willing take all this, then that if great. Really. more power to you. But for at the very least dont try to spin these new policies as something positive. Just say hey, I cant help myself and its all good.
