If you choose to stay digital only, then that's different and you made that choice. On WiiU I have a choice on just about every game. If its a game I know I'll never want to lose or sell, then I buy digitally. If its a game l think I'll sell after I finish it, I can buy on disc. That makes sense as they are clearly two different mediums with trade-offs. MS is removing those freedoms of ownership and that is what I dislike. |
What is the DRM for retail PC releases for Steam? I've never bought one but I am pretty sure its exactly the same... You buy the game and the physical medium is just a distribution method, not the actual game. You install on your PC...and can you resell it afterwards?
