Take it you don't see my point.
If you have the option to buy a physical media, you should be able to do with it as you please. If you choose to stay digital only, then that's different and you made that choice.
On WiiU I have a choice on just about every game. If its a game I know I'll never want to lose or sell, then I buy digitally. If its a game l think I'll sell after I finish it, I can buy on disc.
That makes sense as they are clearly two different mediums with trade-offs. MS is removing those freedoms of ownership and that is what I dislike.
