I didn't buy one because, although it may have had good games in some peoples opinions, the games weren't for me.
I don't want to buy a console just for mario and zelda and whatever else.
Also because I got PS2 before GC was out and it was only $300.

There was really few games which would attract me on GC. And PS2 was making me pretty busy.
I didnt buy one at 99USD because, it was already dead.
+1.The was already no point, 99$ was better to spend on NEW Nintendo system with BC, and on it play some few GC missed hits.
@RolStoppable, and as you can see, GC problem was NOT price, it was more games and lack of 3rd party support.
While many people are willing to buy ps3 at 299$ or 199$. ;)

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
