I've read something from someone and they make a really good point. This is bad for Xbox One fans that are getting the console, but this is also bad for PS4 fans.

With the PS3, developers developed for the easier 360 and ported over to the PS3, with some having poor ports. The thing with that though is that the PS3 and 360 were on equal footing. Both were just as powerful.

If Microsoft doesn't fix this issue, then the Xbox One will be half as powerful as the PS4. Third party developers won't be able to use the power of the PS4 and then port the same game over to the Xbox One without a major downgrade. Instead. Third party developers may instead develop the game for the Xbox One, and then port it over to the PS4. With the PS360 and Wii, they had no issues developing two different games, but do you think they're really going to develop three different games because such a difference in power?

The PS4 will still be more powerful, but hopefully Microsoft can fix this so they don't have to cut the clock speed and the PS4 as twice as powerful.

Even though we can gloat about having a much more powerful console, it only hurts us Sony fans and it's not like the exclusives we get can get anymore powerful. As the Xbox One would decrease, not Sony increase. So our exclusives will still look great. Our multiplatform games will suck.
