I've been saying all along that there is no need to give negative details at console reveals or gaming shows like E3. You drip-feed those details out on weekday mornings just before launch, when less people will be paying attention, and after everyone is already hyped. That's why Microsoft's fubar at the reveal was so surprising. Sony kept as quiet as possible but Microsoft was giving bad and inaccurate half-answers when they should have just glossed over everything not positive. It was an amateur showing for such a professional corporation.

If both companies are smart, they'll avoid anything that doesn't paint them in a good light until after E3.
