Something tells me MS is going to buy up key third party titles exclusivity for next gen

I think if it turns out MS are the only ones doing this DRM (which is heaven for the likes of EA) then I can see this 'precedented partnership' being MS able to buy a ton of EA exclusives. Respawns title, something from Insomniac has been rumoured and Mirrors Edge 2. Stuff like that.

I think though the amount of first parties they've created over the last couple of years show they're serious about first party.

I also saw a quote the other day stating they no longer their games going to PC/other consoles but rather permanantly exclusive to X1.

Obviously they won't port their games to competing consoles, but I'm not sure MS will change its strategy of seeking synergies between XBox and Windows. Although most probably XBOne will have at least timed exclusives before Windows versions are released. It could depend also on genre and single games too, those that are known to sell well enough on PC, or even better than on consoles, could receive simultaneous release, the others a delayed one, if any, to gather some more money from PC version sales when sales momentum on XB has declined. Just my opinion, I could be clamorously wrong.
