This is a fair criticism. Tyrion is a complex character and not as easily likable than the show makes him. I think they realize TV fans adore him and need something to cling to in this dark world. He was craven and left wedding news to Snasa for Cersei. Don't forget Sansa humiiliated him at the wedding refusing to knell. People can act in negative ways which are udnerstandable based on their surroundings and circumstances. I think his story will be very interesting next season given some alterations to character as...well, cannot say much more.
