That's not really working for the WiiU at the moment.. And it didn't work for the GameCube or N64.

Actually, it did work for the Gamecube and the N64. Both survived their generation and made money with little third party support.


Wrong. That was thanks to the handhelds. Nintendo has always had a way of enticing kids to get their parents to buy them a Nintendo handheld.

GameCube and N64 were both profitable systems.  N64 especially.
