I dont think Microsoft is any better in spite of all this. They are just as bad or worse. Microsoft has their own phone aswell.

Its definitly not OK for these companies to be doing this. Not ok at all.


Like I said, I only think MS is better at this because they are watched far more by everybody. Any misstep they do will be in the news, the same is not true for google and apple. If they mine and sell your data, you may not hear about it. if  MS does, you better bet it will be in the news (as it is now even though we dont know specifics, but there is no uproar for the other companies). Google is the worst as they rely on your info for their income (their free services) since MS is payed for their services they dont need to make up the money by mining and selling your info. I am sure they would do it if they can get away with it though.
