MS reduced the size of the X1 pad so it might become the perfect fit for you.

I wonder if he ever tried the original xbox controller...  It was just too much and filled with too many buttons (black, white, all these little buttons that would confuse the fuck out of me).  Some reason I didn't mind the Dreamcast controller which was about the same size as the original xbox controller.  The form factor and button placement on Dreamcast controller was far superior than the original xbox controller though.
