Yep, and they paid billions for it, lost momentum and customers.  I have it repeat twice would not be the best of moves and even MS learn for their mistake.  WIth the competition launching at the same time, it really would be stupid to put out on market a broken product.  So if the rumor is true, I believe MS will either have a big shortage if they cannot meet demand or they will release at a later date.


I see your point. And it's well said and makes sense

I think Microsoft knows just like everyone here knows that what hurt the PS3 the most was it release after the 360 (by 1 year). I think Microsoft would rather release a broken console and spend money to fix or replace it. 

If not they would miss the holiday shopping season and launch at 3 to 6 or even 12 months after the PS4. Something Microsoft may see as a death sentence for their console
