a) gamepads are obsolete controlling mechanisms
b) $200 gets me 4 wii games; as someone who has a family, i don't have more than a few hours a week max for console gaming, so no time for ps3 games; don't even have time to finish zelda/etc...that's also why i'm gonna instead buy a ds for 129 because i can play that at more times than i can play a console
c) by the time ps3 is $199, wii will have well over 50% of the market and most developers will be pushing their best games to wii, just like what happened with ps2...
d) by the time ps3 is $199, the ps4 will be on the horizon with full motion/ir controls; i will consider that console at that time
