the price tag for games were 40-50. Your paying more taxes on a higher dollar amount and I doubt with the shape of the economy a lot of people are better off now then they were then. By the time you add taxes (9.75% in CA) you are almost at 80$. No matter how you slice it, that sounds like a ton of money for a video game. It's definitely going to be a turn off for moms when their kid asks them to buy them a new game and its 80 bucks. But, if Sony consumers think it's fair and acceptable, then more power to them, I won't be participating.
