if PlayStation Plus is any indication, SquareEnix and Sony have a really close partnership (not 'unprecedent', lol).

First, the Tomb Raider digital bundle sale, U$29,99 at US PSN which was a success. Then Sleeping Dogs free on PS Plus (US and EU), soon followed by a Sleeping Dogs DLC and add-on content sale. Today, PS Plus offers Deus EX for free, another SquareEnix published game. There's probably more stuff I don't remember now.

Also, Final Fantaxy X and X2 coming to Vita and PS3, exclusively of course.

Square was also on stage for the PS4 reveal, which gives us high hopes for a new Final Fantasy on PS4. Maybe the rumors of FF Versus XIII becoming  Final Fantasy XV and going PS4 exclusive have some strength?

Sony and SquareEnix seem to be going along pretty well now.

I do not see how that shows love but well.

Sleeping Dogs Limited Edition was 6.24$/€ at the SquareEnix store 2? weeks ago. Hitman Absolution was 2.60?€/$?
(PC versions tho does this show love for PC?)

Tomb Raider is available for 30 -35 everywhere. And is occasionally available for 25. (PC sometimes @20)

So I don't see why digital versions being 5 bucks cheaper than retail everywhere is love...

Final Fantasy X and X2 HD are just random ports. They only coming to PS3/Vita shows that Sony made a deal with SQenix.

SQenix being at a game centric reveal is as normal as the host being there. They were not at the Xbone presentation because Sqenix does not make TV apps (yet)

It is not plausible for the next main FF game to be exclusive because SQenix won't give up Xbox profits especially with a new generation where every single copy is important because of the small userbase.  (13 PS3+360 sold more than 12 on PS2 as exclusive! PS3 alone would have sold less because it's a dying franchise thanks to FF11 starting to shit on the FF name same will happen to DQ thanks to X  T.T )

So it might be a timed exclusive at best
