@listerofsmeg The ancient aliens series is one of the most thourougly debunked series ever to air on tv. I do have degrees in earth sciences, and biology, and architecture and engineering (back when I was young and foolish and went in for such things). My wife is an archeaologist and anthropologist, I have dabbled in it and worked on sites from Canada to Mexico. I am in a library daily, at a university, where I am a researcher. The disdain I show for the nonsense that the series spouts is well deserved.
You can't believe everything on tv. Most of it is poorly researched, presented with considerable bias, not reiviewed by those who would know how to verify the claims, and presented for entertainment purposes.
If you google ancient aliens debunked you will find hundreds of links to sites in much every cliam the series makes is shown to be a sham... Or you could come to our classes in my department and we could give you a goud grounding in geology and geomorphology... or my wifes department where I can introduce you to some experts in a number of sites shown in the series.
