Really? This is what you are able to put out when you think of Halo 5? This is one of the bad posts... Why would it be stupid? Ah yes, because MS does stupid things by now and $ony doesn't? Well, that's a good argument.

And I think after Sony's render-target-disaster everybody in the industry knows that cgi-teasers aren't the best way to show games. Btw, do you remember when MS showed a Halo as cgi which had nothing to do with the game?

It is stupid, because it is too soon.   It is a flagship franchise that actually ¹requires 2-3 years in order to be done properly; and even more considering they are going nextgen.   And also, it is too obvious for M$ to do this; ²considering how this gen went regarding M$ (sequels, sequels, sequels and more sequels)   ³ people, gamers, media want new experiences at this E3.   If they do it it will be received very baldy.

1- Tell me a Halo game that wasn't done properly.

2- There is no game that keeps on coming fresh like Halo every iteration for short periods of time(2-3). No other game has more people camping outside for midnight release. You Sony fans talk like your company doesn't milk their cows. Look at this skinny cow I brought from Somalia:

Since 2005 except 06 Sony been draining this poor cow non-stop.  And Halo is being milked?

3- I'm tired of this fallacy. People want good games, new experiences do no mean better experiences. Lets say Sony varies their 1st party releases better, but how is the reception of the games from you guys? POOR,POOR,POOR. The only game to succeed in today's market is Uncharted. The rest go quickly under the radar after release.

Anyways, I'd rather see 343 take on a new IP rather than making a new Halo. Also I'm confused as to why Microsoft want to make the "next" Halo when Halo still sells very well and now comes out yearly, seems kinda dissapointing when you consider that they're going for yet another huge budgeted FPS exclusive. 

You know 343 is from 343 Guilty Spark....a iconic Halo character. The studios inception was to helm Halo and Halo only. MS has other studios now that will hopefully give the Xbox brand some much needed variety.

Halo 4 is still chugging along, but its legs have only so long left before it goes to a crawl. And Halo 5 being announced doesnt mean holiday 2013. Like Halo 3, it was announced 1.5 years before release. Lots of room for Halo 4 to sell.
