I was going to register on NEOGAF to reply this comment: "Isn't the "Vita" the mobile dust collector model of the "Wii U"? " then just got error because my email account is free?! I can't use Hotmail or Gmail accounts :/ what a selective people there!
And about rumors up there, the reddit post is titled: "Rampant speculation" So I wouldn't take this all for true... :/
