The PS3 launched for $1000 in Australia. That's a 10th, (10/100) of my car, which I might add, is fucking awesome. It's the purple one.

The funny things is I owned a PS1 then jumped on to Xbox never owned a PS2, then PS3.. Infact my intention was to purchase 360 but instead I ended up purchasing PS3 as I was in Dubai and got a deal on PS3 Jap model @ $350 and this was in Jan 2007, and PS3 in India wouldnt even launch till april.

But oh boy i was pretty furstrated with PS3 for couple of years with no games but since then i havent looked back, neither have sony. the reason i will be staying with Sony is for their 1st party developers
