They'll be making every conceivable Halo for sure.

Halo defined the Xbox1 (gawd this is going to get confusing), and (for me) Gears defined the 360. It's just not important anymore. Obviously sales speak otherwise. I'm giving my perspective.

Halo and Gears r both futuristic shooters so do u want it to continue with that trend or try a completely different genre and setting.

For MS to grab my attention... gonna be tough, but ok...
They need a portfolio of impressive (AAA) games:
- Fantasy-action-adventure. Dragon Age III doesn't count. New IP.
- Non-kiddie platformer. Rare has the good stuff. Make it happen.
- A futurustic racer to show off the juice of the 'ol bone.
Three fresh games like this would make me interested. Because (let's face it) there'll be a shit-ton of military shooters and sci-fi games there.
I don't think this is what most people want though.

Pretty much, except for Uncharted. Actually, by 'non-kiddie' I wasn't referring to graphics. If the make a Banjo-Kazooie style game (but challenging and with large scope!) then I'd be pretty interested too.
Wipeout - YES. Definitely. There's a killer app for me every gen.
EDIT: Anyways, FRESH, NEW things. That's what'll grab me. Not Crackdown, Dragon Age and Mirror's Edge. BAAAAAH!
