There are more games on the wii than I can play as it is. I don't really need another system. So no, I probably wouldn't. I dunno, I might frivelously decide to, but the price isn't what's stopping me from buying one. I could go buy one right now if I felt like it.
And if you're trying to demonstrate that this means Sony domination as soon as it it hits a certain price point you're way off. The wii has won the battle in the public eye. I think it was either phil harrison or peter molyneux that accurately stated "if you ask the public what the real next gen system is, they will answer 'the wii'". The PS3 suddenly isn't going to become popular just because it becomes cheap, any more than the gamecube became popular when it was 150 or 99 dollars. Public perception. In the eye of the majority of beholders, it's the loser.
