Yeah I think a lot of people heard about that. Too be honest, their PS3 framerate was all over the place as well. I had my game crash a lot of times, even with the patches I'm not sure they fully rectified the issue. Apparently thats why they've developed or attuned a new engine for Dark Souls 2, to deal with those problems. Hopefully those issues are a thing of the past now they know Dark Souls has a stong following. |
The framerate needs to be more stable, thats for sure. I never had the game crash more than a few times and I've put in hundreds of hours in. The patches were mainly for balancing the game and for odd graphical glitches.
I am really looking forward to the new light effects. They are vastly improved as you can see in the gameplay demo.
