I don't know how it would be possible to beat Ikaruga and deliver a better sequel...and I think Treasure knows it.
In terms of Raptor and it appeal when it came out in 1994, it had pretty crazy graphics for the time with top notch gameplay and weapons upgrade system like no other at the time. It was bloody hard too but since then every shooter has been hard lol.
