Again, who is to say Xbox one won't be able to be played offline.
Their execs did a really shitty job in explaining how Xbox One will work but nothing I heard says that single player won't be offline playable.
I will say this though...if Xbox One indeed needs constant online, even for single player, I will completely do a 180 and blast the console and its idea of "DRM". It just makes no sense for this to be implemented for single player gaming.
