No, it would have been a dealbreaker if it was $20 and with actual DRM. Steam is like GOG: A sales platform. That's what makes Steam attractive: Only Publisher-side DRM (if at all - you can still play most Steam games without Steam, you just need to delete the steam_api.dll and launch it via "game".exe) and extremely good prices (either on deals or regular ones).
Get over it.
