pre 5th gen: SNES
5th gen: bought 3 PS1. the first one broke, the last one was the PSone. I remember having so much fun with this consoles! Crash Bandicoot 3, Spyro, Tekken 3....ahh yeah! Never got around to buy a N64 or anything Sega related!
6th gen: Got a PS2 because...well everyone got one xD and a Gamecube. Also in this gen I bought my very first gaming rig..
7th gen: PS3 one year after its release but sold it soon after that to buy a Wii and a couple of games. X360 never interested me
8th gen: already bought a Wii U and a new gaming PC...XBone isn't considered -> Why bother if you have a gaming PC??
PS4 seems boring so far. I didn't really care for Sony's exclusives after the 5th gen because they didn't/don't provide me with the same fun and variety as Nintendo exclusives!
