i only really got into gaming on the 7th gen when i got given a Wii and bought a PS3 later on. I didn't buy Xbox 360 (these 2 reasons are for before the slim) due to how noisy it was and the RROD. But also having to pay to play multiplayer put me off despite the advantages. Also, by the time the Xbox 360 Slim came out, i was content with PSN and my PS3 and the games it offered. There were hardly any Xbox exclusives that i really wanted to play and most games i wanted were also multiplatform or a PS3 exclusive. Alan Wake was really the only Xbox game i wanted and that's on PC
8th generation i will buy PS4 and Wii U
