Well does WiiU + PC somewhat count when I am not going to buy a Ps4 and Xb1? I see no point in buying those 2 systems because they are to similar to a PC for me. Like 360 and PS3 were this gen.
If not for the third party exclusives (why are third party games exclusive anyway....) I would not have bought a Ps3 or 360. And most of the console games come to PC.
I spend way to much money this gen and played less than in every prior generation. This was also the first gen in which I owned every console (last gen was only GC PS2 and DC no xbox).
I got a WiiU for free and will stick with it and my PC (which will be ugraded next year). I am happy that I got a WiiU because Xenoblade is simply the best RPG I played in the last 15? years. And being able to play its successor will be awesome.
PC gaming's biggest advantages for me are the superior input methods better graphics (in the long run) better customization (mods etc.) and being 100% backwards compatible forever plus cheaper games and the ability to play the games without using the disk (while still OWNING the disk which is important for me as a collector) and I will always have a PC anyways so there is no need to buy a special device which costs 500 or so bucks.
Plus since I have 2 PCs most of the time (old one and new one and sometimes even a laptop) I can invite friends and play most multiplayer games in "local multiplayer" without the need to buy the games several times.
